Although little will come from this…
Anyway I made a little forum post on Game Jolt featuring tool links and details for creating content for my up and coming voxel RPG + Maker. Also included is template man and his template images so you to can de-template him into your own original model.Found hereIn other news I've gotten close to finishing the basic in the map editor, lights and objects are placable. A custom unique tile palette (for color coding tile types) and editable model list(text file).Currently you can place lights and objects, but not remove them yet. However the EvalDraw version still is stuck with hardcoded model names, but with the progress with working with Voxlap with C++, this is no longer a problem. At one point I'll probably just rename this project to 'The Crawl' like the past attempts, moving back to pixels from polys but still true 3d? Kind of weird when I think about it.First of 'The Crawl' = 2d Eye of Beholder styled pre-rendered objects. Started off in VERGE, then Visual Basic and finally GM5.Second 'The Crawl' = 3d GM6.1 base direct x graphicsThird 'The Crawl' = GM6.1 with Ultimate3d providing pixel shaders texture blending.Fourth 'The Crawl'? = Evaldraw(prototype) and then Voxlap(final)
I think it's a pretty cool idea to keep using the name, since you are essentially improving more and more on the same idea.
That must of been one fast comment delete
I think it was more of a threat before she does.
