Apparently the idiots of yoyogame's land and gmc trollies have discovered Gamejolt. Twice in a row I got a 1 rating on Shield Breaker EX without any kind of download or play. In fact it's been dormant for at least 5 days.
And in sadder news, my wife's in the ER with stomach pains, hoping her the best. And my rat died, not a nice day.
Most people who get banned from YYG seem to migrate to GameJolt and continue their idiocy there. Maybe a mod could remove the rating?
I hope your wife gets better and I'm sorry to hear about your rat. :(Hope your wife feels better! sucks about the rat…
YYG's always been full of contagious stupidityYYG are a bunch of children, take no heed. Patronizing them helps.
Turns out to be a gall stone, she'll be having surgery tomorrow. Hopefully everything will be alright.
Of course now my daughter wants to know if we'll be getting a replacement pet…@CPSGAME - nice cookieDon't give her any ideas…
In less sad, but more neutralizing news, I applied for the Indiegame fund and got denied, but got good comments on Shield Breaker. Which I should finish the remake of the engine sometime soon.To be honest, Shield Breaker never seemed like anything promising to be commercially successful to me (or at least not something I'd pay for). You could try with The Crawl engine, but I'd rather it (and everything you may do with it) stays free :P
Can't sell The Crawl, for many reasons.
Well my goal with Shield Breaker is to shape and mold into a commercial game, grant it a $5-10 title.Other projects of mine I'd rather keep free, like TC. I'd like it to be both a game and an editor, something I always enjoyed about games that were packaged or later offered tools for content creation. With RPGs, it's more the desire to tell a story and challenge the player, were as SB is like a casual quick play game, like a trinket you can sell at the check stand wall or farmers market.I have some ideas to try, but need to finish the product first.
