A lot has been going on as of late, but things are gradually calming down, and I have a good couple of days.
When I had some time to myself, I was playing Diablo 2, a necromancer named Radnob, which was reverse of Bondar, whom I didn't like how his skills were panning out. Then I got back into the spirit of G.M'in and started making more maps for the NES RPG.Then I ended up playing lan Diablo 2 with my wife…as a pair of sorceresses, she's fire and I'm ice based. Then I started making maps again. So I'm thinking about 1/3 of the world map is completed.Bam, image wallTop is the projected amount of maps needed to be done. Middle is what is done, and the bottom is an overlay of the two and info.
Making the maps was always the funnest part of creating an RPG. Well, that and playing it afterward. :P
^ Ditto.
If I could only get payed to do this.
So far the idea of a town on the right of the map with mountains above make it look like Zelda.
I always wondered when I beat a game and I see someone is credited as a level designer, just how much that someone is earning.
The towns on the left, but there is a small village that will in the far east when I get there.
@Rez - Not much I'm sure.Because the swamps and the arctic are always close together.
I think it might be kinda cool to have a frozen swamp.
Yes that's right.
