App inventor, after a month of nearly forgetting about it, I finally got invited into using Google's App Inventor for andriod.
Wee, another thing to eat my hour or two of general geekiness a day. I had another hour or so, but Co-Op Diablo 2 is still slowing things down, that and reality. So, I'm hopefully going to play with this soon and share my experiences. Keep in mind I almost never read docs and just jump on top of new programs until the scream in pain. Its okay, they're not really alive.
I applied for it too, and I'm really hoping they accept haha. Tell me how it is!
Sadly its all web-based, I miss having nicely packaged software that you can carry around on a flashdrive and use nearly anywhere.
Like GM 6 or lower, or GLBasic.Whaaat. That's stupid. But does it work well?
Appears I need to get the 'extra's package to really get into it using codeblocks. It seems simple, but maybe too simple. Somethings I'm already having an issue with in the general designing phase.
I know what you mean. Do you have an Android phone?
Nope. I was looking into emulation.
Oh, I see. If you make anything, try to send it over in .apk format. I can test it on a real device lol.
Well I'm kind of putting it on the back burner, but I have some time off so maybe I'll give it another go.
