Even more voxels

So I've decided that I'm going to go full focus on the Duke3d -> Black Shadow conversion.

Everything seems to be coming together visually and plans I have for changing the gameplay are both easy to do and have already been done.

Here's the forum thread

Awesome TC, doesn't need Duke3d Has some features I hope to be using, as the coder for it has offered help. Things like saving the state of the map and having a shield.

This looks excellent mate.

Tip: Don't let the player actually get close to the forest. The trees look alright from a distance, but not as a wall right next to you.

You should fix that dude.

Man duke3d had the worst vertical perspective… I mean back in the day it did the job but looking at it now is just trippy :S

I'll mess around with the tree part, some parts are kind of experimental and need touch ups.

I'm stuck with the classic rendering for the sake of voxel models, but at least it runs on everything. OpenGL doesn't work right on my newer netbook do to drivers.

We need a new solution thats less kapurkative than OpenGL.
