So I created a program that allows me to manipulate the duke3d palette, yes its a 8bit res game…

Also a program to extract/import images to the palette format. So I've brightened the hightlights of the colors and made the black a bluish black for a more atmospheric fade off into the backdrop.

Also shifted some colors hues around too.

You can check past videos for a comparison.

The grass looks good now, too bad all the voxel objects really don't match those "forest" textures in the background :P

Oh, and the title made me think you came up with skyboxes or something :(

Yeah, I need to update those with images created from the new tree models.

LOL, skyboxes….

Nice, I'm liking it! Cesque mentioned out the only thing that bugged me.

I know I've been putting it off, I just started adding shadows to things I think should have them.

Like the pine needles, jibs/guts, coins and so on.

But not grass or trees. Trees because it looks messed up, possibly a glitch do to the tree size, and the grass because it just doesn't show up.

But yeah, that tree wall needs reworking.
