Well, it's February, and it's FINALLY time for the thing we all know and love(or despise and wish would catch fire >_>)…..

My February update! Woo! Cue fanfare!

….Okay, so it's not monumental. ANYWAY. On to stuff.

I just got back from the yearly *gasp, shock* convention that I go to. Yeah, that's right. It was the one with the Melee tournament. More on that in some later paragraphs. It…. wasn't bad, I guess. It was better organized this year (the con, not the touney, as I said, tourney comes LATER) but I had more fun last year.

….Holy crap, I've been with 64D for a year! And I haven't made too much of an ass of myself! Go me!

~!~WARNING! WARNING! A RANT BEGINS HERE!~!~

Tourney….ness….. Argh. My friend, Phred, and I both entered, and due to the "officials," everything went down the crapper. Y'see, due to organizational problems, it started late. Then nobody even noticed that 4-way stock 10 matches would take too long until after the first fight.

After that was out of the way, and a few fights later, my match came up. Scythe vs Phred vs Random guy #1 vs Random guy #2. …..2 Fox, a Marth, and myself as Ganondorf. All went well, until Phred (using Fox) and I (using the Great Dark Lord Ganondorf) were the only 2 left, at which point he beat me, removing me from the tourney.

Seriously, I have NO IDEA what the officials were thinking at this point, because after the match, Phred dropped out, claiming he was bored, and they wouldn't let me back in (despite my RECORDED rank of SECOND in the match). In short, I'm pissed at Phred. And the officials. And life in general.

What do you think the officials should have done about this situation I was in?

A) Let Scythe back in, he DID come in second.

B) The decision stands, and Scythe should still be gone.

C) Force Phred to stay until he loses. NO QUITTERS >O

D) Ehh, I dunno.

E) Well, I'll just say pancakes, Scythe, because I'm too damn lazy to read your rant.

F) …."Monkey" isn't an appropriate response here, is it?

EDIT: I got rid of G. Mainly because I decided that we only needed one monkey this month.
