The night of the roach

Since I'm not sure our short story competition will be happening anymore I though I'd just post what I wrote. It's not at all serious and I hope you find it amusing. Also it's less than 2000 words long do don't worry about length.

Also minor life update for those who don't know: I am now attending the vet tech institution in Houston. Essentialy is is nursing school for animals. When i finish in a year and a half I will be eligible to be an LVT or licensed veterinary technician.

Ooh. What does a Veterinary Technitian do? (Context clues say animal nurse)

Yep animal nurse/higenist/groomer.

How much do you know about dogs? The reason I ask is that my dog has Cherry Eye, and I want to know if there's a better way to treat it than surgery.

It's something that's bothered me for quite some time.

Also, do doctor/ lawyer rules apply to asking advice from a veterinarian? lol

Please don't bill me.

Yay! Do you know when it will? Also, could we have a theme this time, so we have something to judge them on. I find limitations helps me write :D. Thats cool that it will be back on, cant wait.

@LAR what rules? Also for cherry eye it depends on the severely. If its not terrible I think there are some eye drops that help but the surgery is probably the best way if it's sever. Its less likely to come back. Don't worry, it's not at all dangerous. The dogs aren't put down for too long

what rules?

-Confidentiality

-Payment Required (Though most people in each practice give their services away to friends and family)

-Waiting on an appointment list

-As your client, LAR would have to tell you everything related to the scenario that will aid your practice. Like if his pet was really eating Human organs, etc

-He would have to wear a tight suit (Should be optional)

Hey, asking as you don't plan on suing me for wrong information (I am a STUDENT not a tech) then I won't charge. And if I haven't been given all the information than its not really my fault to start with.

EDIT: I amend my earlier statement. There are no official treatment beside surgeries. I asked a student who has been here more than two weeks XD
