As you may of heard, I am currently working on a great spriting program.

I put out a sprite request, but only got one set of sprites from one person, which I thought was dissapointing. I have decided to make the sprites myself, so that means that this program will be delayed.

My, my… You're quite the optimist.

I see what you're trying to do, encouraging users to participate by providing extended features blah blah blah. What you haven't thought about it why we should use this over and above:

a) Paint

b) Game Maker's editor

c) Illustrator

d) Photoshop

I think you'd get a lot better response if you justified this program. Good luck.

What about all the other spiriting programs made with Game maker?

All the Adobe programs may be very useful, but they can be complicated. This was actually inspired by Fireworks, but this is a much simpler version, and it's made entirely for Gamemaker.

Also, not many people have these Adobe programs.

Paint and the Gamemaker sprite editor are more like paint pallets. This is a more object-related program; you don't have to erase what you have drawn, just move the sprite parts around.

What about Inkscape, then? Wonderful program.

Lol, my internet is too slow to download 33 MB. Looks good though. Look, I just wanted to make my own program with Gamemaker that I could use for my games, if you don't want to be a part of it, that's ok.

Good luck, though.

They are never used… Still good luck with this, maybe you can make one that at least adds something to the existing programs.

@ Juju, are you trying to discourage him? Let him have his projects. You get to do yours.

Thank you Distortion, finally someone understands! ;)

Oh, this program WILL add somethings that other programs do not!

It's almost complete too!
