Hello 64Digits! ...AGAIN.

Posted by SoberMilk on Dec. 20, 2009, 12:53 p.m.

Yes, I know, you all hate me, but just read or listen or something.

I know that many of you will not give even the slightest shit about me, since in the past I was spamming bum-face, but hear me out.

First heres a quick history lesson:

Toward the end of first year in High School my friend (used to go by the name "Vigilant Psyche" and "Kikko Fergae") discovered GM. He was a few years older than me, and he taught me how to use it. We both started to use it and had many hours of fun working on games together! It was awesome! He made much better games than me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Living in a small village in the middle of nowhere, we would find ourselves using GM for hours at a time. He is now at University and I'm nearing the end of High School now. Time passes so quickly…

Anyway, I have long since stopped using GM, as has VigPsy. I grew bored of it. Being the silly child I was back then, this doesn't surprise me and I havn't touched it since. I stopped coming here at that point, and moved onto greener pastures. I have matured greatly since then, although my sense of humor is still rather… insane.

Anyway, to the point…

I was browsing my favourites list in Firefox and came back across 64 Digits. "Oh look!" I thought, "I'll take a look around there. Should pass some time, I guess." While looking, I amost burst with nostalgia. I started to browse my favourite users list and came across users like Ice of Sweden and Firefly X, people I'd long forgotten. It was really interesting to see many of my old acquaintances and games again. It represented an era of my life which I hadn't thought about in awhile.

This may sound wierd, but 64Digits… The site represents a part of my life. No matter what state the site is in, or how much the community has changed, It will always represent a part of my upbringing. Whenever I look at it, It almost brings a tear to my eye.

I want to say thank you to the site and the community, and say sorry for any trouble I may have caused in the past. This site taught me many things, and I wish to thank all of you. I think I'll give GM another go, and begin anew with you all. Whatdy'a say?

…Hmmmmmm… I know I'm forgetting something…

…OH YEAH! IT'S ALMOST FREAKIN' CHRISTMAS!!! WOOHOO!!!

Happy Chirstmas to all! What do you all hope for? I know I'm getting a new keyboard and mouse, namely the G9 and G15 from Logitech and some moneys.

Well, thats all I have to say. I guess I''ll see you all soon!

Goodbyes!

tl;dr Nostalgia about 64. Xmas stuff

Welcome back anyway, and stay if you can since as you can see the community is dying in terms of activity. =(

SoberMilk…rings a bell. Welcome back.

We all go through that 64D phase. But remember, it's bad for your health. Just for coming back, you've cut your remaining lifespan in half.

Heheh, heh, heh, HEHEHEH, AHAHAH.

AHAHAHAH!

And now I receive those remaining years.
