Now, my last blog was about the queue as well. The difference here is that my last blog asked if it was a good, or a bad thing. Most people agreed it was good. Then a thought struck me, who's it keeping out? Some could upload a game, and once it gets accepted, simply change the file without it being checked. Viruses could easily be aloud through. I see only 2 ways of making this not happen, and I don't like either of them. Number 1 is to check every file that is uploaded, which is almost impossible to do now. Considering it took a month to get my last game through the queue, checking every file is preposterous. Now, the other alternative is that we send files that have been edited, back into the queue. Well, that doesn't good very good, does it? But if you think about it, theres no difference from that, and from it's original trip through the queue. Even if that was in place, people could edit there message, posting a link and calling it a patch or something. Basically what I'm saying, is what is the queue stopping. Any one else have any comments?
It blocks the worst submits from being accepted
Which is why it needs to be a quality checkerRead the whole thing… He gets that.
That is a good point though, but mods are pretty good at checking things (even after submitted) before dowloading.Yes, a quality checker needs to be made because computers can tell 'good' from 'bad'.
@Hand=Know,simply stating
@Kaz=I meant the queue,if you dislike my structure then go cry to SYAnd I also pointed it out due to such things as that fade example that was acceptedHEre's the thing. If you changed it to a virus, some member would complain.
Then, a mod would delete it. Poof.I've lost my life to your banner so many times
i thoght the que was there so the game mods had some oreder and which games to look at first also to give everyone a good time on the front page.
Ya,they like giving each game 24hours of showoff
