Who's Line?

I've just watched the first and eighth seasons of Who's line is it Anyway?, and now I feel like doing Improv everywhere I go. It's a very strange feeling. That show became so Americanized between seasons 1-8 it's not even funny. I liked the older host, but Drew Carey is still a funny guy. Just watched Steven Colbert do an episode. Great stuff.

Moosicz

Still checking out a some new bands on the Alternative scene. I'm liking a lot of them. Also in Moosicz today, my Frostwire broke, so I went back to Limewire. I'll have to download Limewire Pro sometime I guess.

iPod Touch

So I had 2 friends buy iPod Touches, which before me and another friend owned. So me and him decided that iPod Touches can't be cool anymore. Especially since they got ones with more space. We figured we needed something else to be cool, and since we had just walked around the block shirtless we decided that Shirtless Walking was in, and iPod Touches were out. Tell everyone.

Friends

On 64D, I have 26 Friends. I know a lot of people add everybody, then people add them back and they have lots of friends. I never did that though, and really don't intend to. So sadly, my number of friends is rather low. Want to be friends? =)

English

I've written four essays in a week, and am sick of it. I've written them on:

- My Endeavorer into Programming. It was supposed to be a narrative, so I told the story of how I started programming. Got an A.

- Apples place in technology. Focused a lot on the iPhone. Got a high B, 85% if I remember.

- Religions effect on our society (I also wrote one on our worlds fate on a long enough time line, but decided not to hand it in) Got a high B.

- The controversy of abortion, which was a lot of reading. Got a decent B. The teacher must have disagreed with the Pro-Choice view I wrote the essay in.

One thing I noticed was I never got a full mark on spelling, even though I spellchecked it. I think my teacher just doesn't like giving out 100%s on anything, which I can understand I guess.

I did worse as I wrote more, but that's because I got sick of writing essays. =/

Internet Downloading

Just grabbed the first three seasons of Dr. Who, yet to watch it but I've only heard good things.

Also downloaded a copy of Visual Studios 2008 Pro. Might start doing some C++ work again now.

Gamemaker

Ummm, I remember opening GM but I forgot what I did. Oh well.

That was actually a pretty boring blog, sorry. I suppose I'll list it in recent anyways.

I like debates, but respect the different opinions. Abortion, like religion, is a sensitive topic.

I don't feel that developing fetuses are really babies. Personally, I'm pro-choice, despite the fact that I think

abortion is quite sad. Women should have the choice of abortion (which should definitely not be illegal). I think that it all comes down to the circumstances. If a women will definitely prove to be an severely incompetent mother, or is not phsyically or mentally capable of raising a child, then it is only fair that she doesn't become mother. Still, it should be the mother's choice. Only the way I feel about this, though.

I feel that the mother should not have the power to end her child's life. Saying that the child should be put out of his/her life before he/her suffers a with an unfit mother is like saying that we may as well abort everyone, to prevent them from suffering.

But, that's just my opinion. I accept that there are other views.

Here is some stuff I've written. I wrote this deliberately from a pro-choice point of view, and this does not necessarily reflect how I feel about this topic. Please excuse my lack of expanding on a few of my points.

Quote:

Every child should be a wanted child; sadly, this is not always the case. Sometimes a child has been started, and the soon-to-be parents are not ready for a child of their own. They have a few choices: They could attempt to raise the baby, and do their best to give it a good life. They could have the baby and put it up for adoption. Alternatively, they could have an abortion.

In the past, the most common choice was for the parents to attempt to raise the child themselves, and often the child did not receive the proper care it deserved.

The adoption system is rough. Children have hard lives when they grow up without real parents, and placing millions of more children in such a system will not help the system, or the children.

In 1973, a court case took place that changed the governmental view on abortion. The courts decided in the case of Roe vs. Wade, that the woman had the right to decide on the future of her unborn child.

The law against abortion was originally created not for moral reasons, but because the procedure used to be much more dangerous than it is now. In fact, many sources state that an abortion is much safer than giving birth.

In the past, women did not have the right to get an abortion, and as such low-income woman were discriminated against. They could not fly across the world to get the procedure.

There is fear of us overpopulating our world. As we have seen from countries such as China, having too many children puts strain on food and land, and so radical solutions such as severely limiting the amount of children per family have occurred.

Is it not better to have a professional doctor perform such an operation, rather than an unknown figure in a dark alley? Should our hospitals not provide such a service for those in need? This service should be offered to anyone who requires it. No woman deserves to have to turn to back-alley abortions because she made a mistake.

I agree with square. It is still sad though, such a cruel world in which not all people care about each other enough to help.

I think abortion should be legal (but should only be accessible to victims of rape), and more government spending should go into adoption agencies and social services (mainly to make sure people aren't adopting kids for an extra source of money). The great part is, nothing will go wrong because of what I say here because a blog comment is the opposite of lobbying. ORISIT??????

Sweet you added me! Thanks.

=p That was in case someone disagreed who I like.

@Zac1790: If a woman is raped, is it the child's fault? Does the child deserve to die for the rapist's actions?

I suppose the big thing here is when you think that a child's life begins. I say it begins at conception. Pro-abortionists say it begins at birth, or sometime between conception and birth.

What would you say if someone started killing the children of unfit parents? What would you say if your parents had the right to get you killed? In my mind, that is the same as abortion.
