I am very excited to announce that I am starting a new project! I don't know if any of you have every heard of Funland (one of my older projects) but now I am making the sequel.
You can visit the old topic here:
Click MeThe other game was liked by a lot of people, and was I think my first game that was actually liked by the majority of people.
Here is a description from the topic for the first Funland.
Funland is a project I have been working on for about 3 months. (not solid) It is basically a level designer but it has a wide variety of things to put it. You can put 42 different items in your level, save/load a level, take a screenshot, make a 1 or 2 player level, display each players score, test your level, change the background color, 3 different level sizes, and a very complete tutorial.
Anyway, the new project is coming along very nicely, and since I am so excited about making the sequel I might have a demo out by this weekend, depending on how many bugs I encounter.
The scrolling shooter I was working on has now been put on pause, for some reason I lost motivation on it.
Some new things I am going to make.
1. The game will come will default, normal funland graphics. But when you download the game in the file there will be a folder with all the graphics for the game. If you don't like the graphics you can edit the images and then your graphics will be used in the game.
2. This one will be much more bug free, if you download the last one, many things in the game had bugs, which were really annoying.
3. Now there will be several types of levels you can create with it. Capture the flag, Get to the Goal, Battle, and a Race to the finish.
4. In this one you will also be able to have 4 people (not so sure about that right now, because of issues with space) playing at the same time.
5. And of course there will be a bunch more things to add to your level.
I will be posting updates as I progress. Oh, and here is a screenshot right now:

I liked the first Funland. And by the looks of the screenshot, and how you described it, Funland 2 will be 10x better! :D
Sounds pretty kewl :D
Will you be able to make fully-blown platformers with this? Like, make executables with linked levels.Sweet and would you be able to change the background in it just a question.
Rockyran: I didn't plan on that, I have no idea how to do that.
penguin_dude: yes you will be able to change the background. =)Looks awesome, never had a chance to test Funland 1.. But I guess I'll test this one =P
