Yeah, so this is about the Retro contest that is being held at cpsgames.net

I've entered the contest and have decided to post a video of a beta version of my entry here at 64D because the people entering the contest don't go here. <.< >.> 'o'

So here are some screen shots of level one.

ok here is the vid but it you think it's jumping around in frame rate that's because my computer sucks at recording videos and the music is slightly more out of sync the further into the movie you get (I had to record that seperately).

I don't have any sound effects yet including voices since I can't find a mic, so I need to get one. And the movement is alot faster when playing it without recording, and the only reason I was able to practically dodge everything so perfectly was because I was playing it in slowmo. I assure you that the part near the end where I destroy the large ships will be difficult for you to do if you run through the level the first time at a low level state.

About the game.

In the game you get to higher level by collecting the experience powerups (E) to get more hp ect. after each level you can upgrade your weapons ect. if you are at a high enough level ect. Also certain items will only apear after some levels are completed. You can also go through some levels as many times as you want. Although it won't be enough after a while unless you complete more intense levels that reward you with more experience than the earlier levels could have ever given you.
