I waited 13 hours at Wal-Mart on Saturday and I got a Wii. I got Red Steel (8/10) and the Wii came with Wii Sports (9/10). I think the Wii will be the top contender in the next-gen wars. I think PS3 will come in last. Even though I like Playstation, I think the PS3 is not as good as it was hyped up to be. sorry. The Wii way surpasses my hopes of what it would be. It has good controls and stuff. The whole motion-sensing thing was sooo ripped off by PS3 and the PS3's sensing isn't even good. I thought with the whole movement thing that I would get tired, but the motions are super effortless. I haven't got tired and I am like 14 years old and 300 or so pounds. If I am not worn out, all the in-shape gamers will definitely not get worn out. The Wii has handled itself greatly. All the launch titles are way better than the Xbox 360's and PS3's. Wii seems to be the best one out there. I haven't tried the online stuff because I have dial-up<tear>. Stay tuned for more stuff. So here is my predictions for the next-gen winners at the end of the year.
1. Wii2. Xbox 3603. PS3next-gen ratingsWii- 9/10Xbox 360- 8.5/10PS3- 7/10The PS3 is not so much a game console as it is a media player, and I've heard even that wasn't handled well. -SumoDeUnoMy Wii(stop giggling perverts) and other things.

The SNES had a CD? I'm missing something.
I think Pacman and all the other Sony haters are just LOOKING for something to say Sony ripped.
No, they're just responding the GHG. And yeah, that thing about PS1 is true.
proof
nintendo could have had cd-rom as well, but they didn't take their chance- not for another two consoles.
damnit, they were the ones that were going to have it, but because of legal issues, they were ditched
Sony did not copyright sh*t. Isn't it funny how, if you payed attention, Nintendo stated that the Wii(at that time the Revolution) would be motion-sensitive. THEN, about a little over a week later, Sony said that the PS3 would be motion-sensitive. Call it coincidence, but that is a sign that something was ripped off. Also, Nintendo came out with the thumb joystick. Sony put two on the PS controller after that. Nintendo had shoulder buttons. Sony put 4 on the PS controller after that. Nintendo had the rumble pack. Sony put a rumble thing in the controller after THAT. How many coincidences are that? I lost count. Look, Nintendo was the first out of the 3 to come out. They came up with everything before the other 2, then they ripped them off.If you're going to be in the business, come out with something of your own on your console, controller, or whatever. Don't steal it from Nintendo.
Oh, and a little side-note. Sony is FINALLY going to have something of their own. They patented this thing that is like real thin, but if you like put electrical currents through it, it reacts differently. It is rumored that they will use it in a handheld console. As much as I want to say the other companies (like Sony) copied Nintendo, they really didn't. It's simply pushing the standards, which is what the Wii-mote is obviously doing. The next set of consoles will likely ALL be fully-motion sensitive like the Wii. I can't even imagine what Nintendo's next system will be like.
Umm…300 or so pounds? You're exaggerating, right?
And yes, I think the PS3 is going to be the worst, especially value wise. Xbox is good, but Wii wins!
