This is my latest small project. it embeds ANY GM/G-Creator/enigma game inside the website.
But I need to make sure that it works for everyone. For more information and to test the games for me go here:http://forums.g-java.com/index.php?showtopic=6972You need to click on the games first! If you have an open source game that you want me to embed then you can give me a link here, I need a good game to show it off ;)it has to be open source as the source has to be modified slightly to work.Unlike yoyo instant play this works in most webbrowsers (including opera and safari!). This will also be available to everyone FREE!Also if it is a gm7 game it only downloads the game part of the exe so no extra 2mb per game :)Anyway enjoy :)
The only things I don't like about it are the big black box surrounding it, and the fact it still pops up the loading thingy, apart from that, it seems very nifty.
Sadbot worked, too.the black box can be removed by changing applet size in html and the loading thing can be remove by makiing the loading alpha value 0, i left it in so users can actually see that the game is loading but the user can remove it if they want :)
here you go:
http://www.g-java.com/gmbed/playgame.php?link=http://g-java.com/gmbed/64compoentryPY.zipThanks :DI know the Yoyoplayer downloads the game onto your documents under a different format. But actually running a game off the web browser. Holy Shit! This is awesome. I originally gave up hope for G-creator(milestone 1 Doesn't work on my PC) But that demonstration was just bad ass. Keep it up.
I always knew you'd create something revolutionary but this… WOW.
I'm still wondering how it works… Do you think you can make an embed program for this? For example, you can make a program using which you can set up a preloader instead of that "X kb downloaded" and also export code to use in order to have your game up on the net.Anyways, I found a bug. If you press F4 to make the game run in fullscreen, it works. Press F4 while in fullscreen and the game comes up in a window. You forgot to put an 'h' in the beginning of the link.
Hmm, I'm not a java guru, but any chance this working on different Linux/Mac and others where Java is available?
And don't forget to mention me at the forums ;)Why did sadbot end up being the maze game? Seemed weird, I don't quite know what people have against just downloading the games
Awesome.
Does it work on linux?
