Ok 64Digits, I need some user input for an article I'm writing. It's about external Libraries. Basically, I just need a relatively short comment about the subject, and permission to use your comment in my article.
Here's the subject:Ok, so my subject is external Libraries/extensions that add new D&D/functions to GameMaker. Do you think they're good or bad? I have my own oppinions about them, but that's not what this is about. Do you think they can be helpful? Do you think they can be hurtful? Do you use them personally? Is this for a Game Maker magazine or something.
I do think that they can be good for ease, or just for newer Game Maker users who don't know gml. I don't really know how they could be harmful, and I do think that they can be helpful sometimes. I don't currently use them personally really, but I have tried. I may decide to use some in later projects, but I currently don't really use them.Extensions of the DLLs in form of GEX and GML are good. As for DnD, I suggest deletion of even defaults. Crummy little things making you flip over to the GML action all the time

They're good for learning, but should be going over to GML ASAP.That's….quite short….
I sometimes use DnD, when I'm too lazy to code something that can be done in 5 secs in DnD. So I think they can be helpful sometimes.
