Well, what I need changed, actually.

I'm going through and editing all of the first three stages to better fit, well, everyone. It would be nice if I could get people to play this old version and tell me what sucks :V

And don't say "like, everything," because everything doesn't suck >:(

On a side note, the changes to the scoring system not present in this version are… extraordinary.

No one ever uses the 'overdrive scoring' mode, so I've made it better this time around.

I just almost got 50,000,000 on Standard…

As for actual progress, the Stage 4 boss is about done.

Once it is, I can package it in with a new demo release of the game, alongside the soon-to-happen-whenever Stage 0.

When I start up the game I see a pitch black window for like 3 seconds then it closes itself.

I went to the error log and I see this:

ERROR in

of Other Event: Game Start
for object setupobj:

Error defining an external function.

The black is the game setting up the save file :/

Did you unpack everything included? That's really the only foreseeable problem.

Its probably GM being stupid. It worked fine for me, but last time another program was screwing up the dll…

As for the game, its kinda cool though it gets so crazy that i dont wanna play :( but maybe thats just bullet hells to me.

Alert, I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that I'm making everything more balanced :V

That, and there's also a Stage 0 in the soon-to-be-released. It's the Easier than Easy counterpart to Easy Mode.

And if people could pinpoint the source of an irritating bug I've been encountering, that would be swell as well.

Terminating midboss attacks too quickly results in the bonus screen remaining on the top of the window. It'll continue to tick down until you die, bomb, or caputure the boss' first attack.

Doing the latter is severely unrecommended :V

The bonus for Circle Shake was 700,000 and the bonus for Entombing Circle was 200,000.

Guess which bonus the game decided to pick for me.

Edit:

New attacks are rolling in the door~

Say hello to Assault Waves for Easy mode players and Assault Rush for Standard players.

They replace the horribly safespot-able final attacks of the Large Purple Head.

I haven't uploaded this version anywhere.

I will, though, when I've finished refitting the second boss pictured above.

In short, Static Spin is too easy, Distracting Swipe needed some editing, and all of the variants of In Your Face were too farmable for graze.

I mean like sitting right next to the boss posed no danger and you would graze like 2,000 bullets.

Rainy Tornado on higher difficulties was outright undodgeable, and I really need to lower the timer on Small Trap and variants. The second boss?

With a 40 second survival card?

HAH.
