minor updates + Lunacy Star Second

Minor enough for me to simply post this in the activity feed and not in the main page so Umbra doesn't find it :3

Anyway, it turns out that I was retarded and changing the seed in Game Maker is a function.

LUNACY STAR SUPPORTS REPLAYS NOW~!

Guess what else.

Gamepad support is being implemented.

*sunglasses*

Foreign language settings are actually really easy to implement, turns out.

We've got English, Spanish is on the way, and Japanese is a maybe.

I've really got to rush this now, though. I've got two months before I totally break "January 2012."

I wanted to be one of the only indie developers who would release a game when they said they initially would :V

And now!

Since I literally can count on one hand the things I have left to do in this game that will not ever end development:

LUNACY STAR, THE SECOND

Plans are being drawn up.

I have another complicated as shit scoring system plotted out and a general idea of how I want the feel of the game to be.

Returning bosses? No.

Returning players? Probably.

Is it closer to Touhou, or Cave? Cave, this time. Lunacy Star was so far on the left end of the scale that I'm pushing it to about two-thirds to Cave.

Do I have a story? No, but I'm certain Umbra will stumble across this and immediately begin thinking it up.

Main differences? Graphical presentation, and not MIDI music. The rest? Basically sexier graphics and sexier patterns to jump in front of sexily.

The Zero Stage will make a return. It'll be about newbie tactics and LS2-specific gameplay, same as before.

Normal mode will be easier! I cannot stress how depressing it is that I can't get past Stage 4 on Standard LS1!

Also.

Do you have ideas for me? I'm listening!

The amount of game dev that's going on lately on this site is making me smile. =)

Isn't that what's supposed to be happening? :V
