I have posted this game in five places, and in the last ~five days of being up, it's gotten 30 downloads, which, hey, isn't bad for an unknown such as myself.
The people at MoTK were most gracious, as I've received stage breakdowns from a couple of people.
All on Easy, but that's to be expected, I suppose.
One guy is going the extra mile and checking out every stage and difficulty and shottype though, which surprises me.
Anyway, can y'all guess what the lot of them all say?
• "Firstly, it's pretty damn difficult, even on 'Calm.'"
• "The reason why your scores aren't clears isn't because you suck, it's because the game is pretty much impossible."
• "I game overed in Stage 4 easy…" "More in your game than any other, did I notice that the slow moving bullets actually felt right for Easy…"
• "It's higher than what most Touhou players would expect from Easy mode."
I'm not sure how impossible it's supposed to be if I can clear it :V

Although more realistically answering, bullet hell is probably one of the easiest genres I've ever had to program in.Almost every other genre isn't as loose in structuring.i normally dont like bullet hells because they require you to play quite precisely. if theres a more gradual level of difficulty with much higher margin of error, it would be fun to try to get as far as possible.
Though I do have to try out your game still…It's fun, but even with you saying this one isn't impossible I still feel like I won't get past level 1. :/

I don't really think it's all that hard, to be honest. Sure, Lunacy is hard, but Calm isn't really all that difficult.
In my next LP video, I'll probably try bumping the difficulty up a level, just to see what it's like (and for teh lulz, the only reason anyone does anything).This is call I can think of every time I read your game's title:
