I don't like things that are fun or colorful.
It has to be both fun, and colorful. It is only colorful.
Aye, cap'n, you are correct. Colorful it is, but I wonder… what if he's colorblind, and thinks it's fun?
EVA wins.
Here's a more serious answer:
I've always had a natural aversion to any kind of award. I guess it could be because I want people to judge me based on my character and actions rather than the symbols I've gathered. In school I hate the idea of grades because people (my parents especially) will judge my semester based on the number of A's and B's I accumulate; my actual projects and tangible accomplishments are secondary. That's just one example. But really, it's just a feeling I've always had and I will always fall short in trying to explain it. I know the badges are just lighthearted fun (…right?)Cyrus Wins, Science always wins.
I lol'd at that last bit. +1 mate.
I liked RC's badges, too. They should just be a little bit brighter, I think.
I think the solution is this:
!(p || q) would be read as"I don't like things that are fun or colourful"!p && !q would be read as"I only like things that are both not fun and not colourful."which is indeed logically equivalentYou've mistaken !p && !q for !(p && q) which would be"I don't like things that are both fun and colourful."
