So, Chaos Weapon

My little sister was going through my old project files, having played Re Stay Alive for the better part of an hour ("AAAAARRRRHHHH BOMBS AAAAAAAAAA") and played through Chaos Weapon for a bit.

> Hmmm, what abilities should I teach my characters?

> Jeremy has horrible MP, but 11 Strength, so he'll just hit.

> Garrett has 11 Spirit, so he can do the healing, I guess.

> Wow, Taizen, you're useless. (I have 6 STR, 6 SPR, and 4 DRK)

> Aaah, slimes. Red Slime?

Red Slime uses Hydrogon Sortori.

The party takes about12 damage out of 40 each.

> Stop using Water on me!

> Everyone target the Red Slime!

Slime uses Slime Engulf! (an 8% chance of happening)

Jeremy takes 20 damage!

Jeremy is unconscious!

> AAAAAAAHHHHHHH

I dunno, I really want it to have the same style it normally has, because the "oh dear god I actually made this and people are playing it" charm is kind of missing when it resembles Dragon Quest V.

But GM chokes when I try to run it.

I don't understand.

So I'm having the game process almost literally thousands of variables in less than the blink of an eye, and then the video skips. Does this happen to anyone else? I don't believe memory usage is any higher than it usually is, and it's certainly lower than that of Lunacy Star.

It doesn't even lag on my computer.

Does anyone else experience anything?

Would someone be willing to take a single session and run it against the team of Shadows a couple times? It seems to happen usually

- after ten or so turns on the same battle

- against at least five enemies

- when both sides use lots of magical attacks

- etc.

aaaaanyone

Gamemaker is just full of shit.

It's like a bad tumor that you can get rid of, but you want it to do a few tricks first.
