I'm tired? Hell yeah!

QUESTION FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WORK AT JOBS THAT REQUIRE HATTAGE:

Do you ever take off your hat at the end of your shift and then realize an hour later that you're not wearing your hat, but didn't tell because your hair still feels pressed down as if there was one there?

That's me right now!

There's something horribly wrong about my methods of attention whoring on Facebook (and in general really) because those "zippy" people with "witty" one line status updates are still making a killing in likes and comments compared to mine, which are essentially the same thing.

Also, have a video.

So I bugged the shit out of my boss in the vain attempt to sway her into relinquishing unto me her unassigned schedule hours, so now I have even MORE days off. (I mean… after this 4 consecutive day string of work is over.)

I've been spending my off time learning new things on the piano, working on games that Will Not Finish, and DMing a Touhou text JRPG.

Don't ask how that last one works, I'm still not sure, but it's managed not to fail so far.

18:53 Hating|Kaeru "BLEH"

18:53 Hanzo|Suzu (…Well, Mokou CLEARLY hates our guts.)

18:54 Taizen > The attack hits Freyr 2 times!

18:54 Taizen > Deals 586 damage to Freyr!

18:54 Taizen > Freyr collapses…

18:54 Taizen > Turn 2. Command?

Excellent balance, I'm sure.

Anyway, I made a song, but it's horrible.

Well, the beginning, is, anyway. The remainder is between "not bad," and "horrible."

The person I made it for likes it though, so I'm okay.

I've noticed someone here, too, is trying to make a computter. I want one, too. I was supposed to make my own a while ago, but that fell through with my parents.

Now that I have a job, but nothing at all to spend any of my money on, I'm amassing quite the fortune (REMEMBER THE 16 YEAR OLD PERSPECTIVE HERE) that's doing little more than sitting around in my bank's computer.

I tell my parents that it's going to college to keep them happy, even if I'm more than in line to recieve an education por gratis at the local university.

Which they won't want me going to, but tough noodles.

Oh damn. Why is this laptop so freaking bright, anyway?

If you take out the plug, and put it back in, it'll default to the highest brightness setting, regardless of how it was prior to being plugged in, or to how it was the last time it was plugged in.

…I think I ran out of somewhat pointless things to talk about.

… Hey, I've got a question.

Dungeon Quest Man has a limit of 16 save files, and you can't delete any, and playing on a 17th save disables saving.

Is the inability to delete saves going to be much of a problem?

Going out and deleting the file is going to cause the game to break, to note.

Likes don't matter. Your life may become moderately better if you ignore likes,+1s, and upvotes.

If you still want to farm some though, you should seek out an audience more likely to like than the people you have added now.

I removed my family because all of them and their lame posts annoy me to hell and back.

Do you feel lucky, punk?

(I kid, I kid.)

I usually just save over an older saves when I'm done with them anyway.

But a buggy save system will not fly in a beta release, y'know when finiky people play your game? that's when it counts.

It functions rather well; it just only allows you to load existing files and to start new ones. New files are always designated an ID (number of files + 1)- deleting file 5 in the folder when you have 6 files is going to still register as file 5 existing, and will still try to load it even though the file doesn't exist anymore. This is an easy fix, granted, but the issue remains :/

I think I'll add, like, starting a new file in the same slot, as opposed to deleting them, given GM Lite has no feasible way of moving around existing text in INI files.

I have an idea, but that entails loading the whole of the data in an INI file as one string, making edits as necessary, (maybe RC4-ing it for fanciness), and pasting it back in. But that would take a little bit to get working.

Parents' laptop. I get to keep it in my room for the duration of this home improvement. (This decision was made after they decided it wouldn't do to keep getting paint all over it)

isn't that just some form of c that was adapted to be readable by the gameboy's dinosaur processing system

There's already a Castlevania-esque delay on the attack hitbox, why would- oh.

Nope, to both of them~

Either of them would make the game easier in one form or another, which simply would be unacceptable.

Question! Again!

Provided a boss telegraphs it's attacks well enough (Mysterious Ghost swaying to one side before spin dashing, or shouting before hurling fireballs, or Kaikirai waving one arm before firing arrows and jumping into the air to perform a Master Spark) is it okay for them to beat you down in five or so hits?

How about three?

Given I can make it entirely the player's fault if they fuck up and die, would you rather prefer a hard game that becomes easy if you learn it's tricks, or a easy-medium game where failure is pretty much unavoidable, but you can stand so much of it that it really doesn't matter?
