DQM's impending re-arting

Since I can't be assed to make actual progress on anything, I figured trying my hand at something I was bad at would make sufficient headway on this game. Level design would have been an easy thing to do, but I can't bring myself to begin the new sector.

The main character has 10 different sprites. This is going to take me forever.

Something else that I was planning to do would be to change the sprites of the swirling star effects (If you've played, you know what I refer to) depending on the sector, and to put in a colored gradient background that will constantly hang around in the background with a dark haze around it.

Yes, Charlie, I am stealing half the design of your mockup.

This will inevitably take me at least the next three months and it'll probably still look terrible.

Is cool.

That character isn't at all what I imagined DQM to look like. I'd rather play as a badass tech-knight guy than some wannabe John Lennon hipster kid.

He's supposed to be a scientist. Granted, I could have put a little more thought and creativity into the design, this is all in his head.

And I haven't named the sprites yet because they're not final :V
