Interesting part, TL;DR'd from below:
I intend to incorporate some sort of 64Digits cameo. Somehow. I don't know quite yet.I finished the skills list today. There ended up being a total of 195 skills the player is capable of learning.I think that this video can sum up about how proud I'm feeling about this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVMQzNqDfq0Well, the first 30 seconds or so, anyway.I've also got quite the wealth of equippable items (67 weapons, 33 armor, 30 accessories) and consumable item things (40).Question: If there was an accessory, that had a secondary effect, in a game where the accessories ONLY augment stats and don't have secondary effects, and the game doesn't tell you about it… is that fair?Because otherwise there's no way to get that HP/SP regeneration effect.I'm also working at getting enemies to start using more skills. They've taken to status effect spells and stat buffs with joy. They can also heal themselves, now. I have no idea why it was broken before, but it works. So, I guess I've now finished, in regards to the battle/general gameplay system- Attacking- Using skills- Changing the party (out of battle)- Defense- Dying- Winning- Status effects (only the basic ones)- Stat modificationsand now I need to work on- Using skills (out of battle)- Changing the party (in battle)- Using items- Changing equipment- Cutscene handlingAnother question: What's your point of view on status effects lingering out of battle? I, for one, hate it. Hate hate hate. But I suppose it would only make sense. But I still don't intend to do anything dumb like out-of-battle HP loss due to poison.Sorry, but I've been pretty lazy, so that's all I really have to talk about.
Return to the interesting part:I'm also considering adding something related to this site, somehow. Perhaps a character from somewhere. I'm leaning towards either Phobos Fatboy, Alexia the Rabbit, or Miura Quaver. References? Some sort of scene, or a battle? I dunno.Suggestions!
music reminds me of Bomberman (b' ')b looking good!
This is looking quite nice so far. I like the music.
Lol I didn't make the music, of course.
