Unfortunately, I am having to suspend the development of my competition entry.
As it stands, I am at the following:8 classes implemented of 845 abilities coded of 6411 musical tracks composed of (~17?)2 stages mapped, and outfitted with enemies, out of 222 battle backgrounds drawn, out of (~35?)The field movement system is complete, for the player only.Battle action inputting and parsing is complete, for the player only.Honestly, all I needed to raise the game into a playable state would be-Enemy field movement-Enemy battle actions-The world map screen needs saving and loading-The world map screen needs skill equip editing-Escape and item functionality in battleThis much I could have knocked out, given 20 more hours of time at the most.I apologize. For now, I have to return to the world of college.I have spent so much time outside of being a responsible, working college student, in favor of working on this game, that I have recieved e-mails and calls from worried professors about this student that has, from out of nowhere dropped one class and stopped showing up and doing any of the online work to the rest. My grades literally cannot withstand another round of neglect, else I'd have continued to work on this into May and expecting a preliminary release approximately between 14 and 24 May.I'll write when progress can resume,TaizenP.S.Acid, please wait until I've finished all of my assignments before taking my pinkies.
I somehow didn't see this until now, but I will wait!
But not forever. >:(
