Those Philippine Photos, Taizen [1 / 3]

Cyrus brings up a wonderful point when he says that I never got around to sharing pictures of my experience abroad.

Well here:

Excessive amounts of time were spent waiting.

Waiting in the airport, waiting for my parents, waiting for things to do, waiting for the plane to complete its 15 hour voyage. It was, all in all, rather excessive.

There was plenty to do when we got there, though.

Here's a random pic of us in a hut at Papa Kit's, some sort of excursion park thing in Lilo-an, Cebu.

The Philippines is littered in shopping malls. Rest assured that we spent a lot of time playing rhythm games.

I'm pretty proud of the fact that me and my little sister were the only ones to nab 5 stages of play from this particular Pump It Up machine. (One credit for which cost about the equivalent of 0.12 USD.)

Everyone else failed out after two.

Jeepneys are about the most ghetto-ass mode of transportation conceived. There was a lot of that going on.

There was much water. As is to be expected in visiting an island country, a lot of tourism centered around water.

Doesn't keep them from doing the American Thing and building a swimming pool a stone's throw from the ocean.

We went scuba diving quite a bit, actually.

The Sister was quite displeased at her non-involvement. Oh well, better luck next time, I suppose.

I'll get onto our experiences at Kawasan Falls next time.

You and I have nearly identical facial expressions!
Except that you never smile.

When happy, Cyrus turns into a broken image.
