Okay, recently, my computer crashed, which was nothing new to me, my computer was slowly getting more and more retarded, somehow downgrading the graphics card by itself to the point everything ended up at about ten frames per second and 8 bit graphics, was kinda cool for half a second.

So then I shut down my computer, usually fixes it.. And nope, it wouldn't start back up, so I was like "fuck it, fine.."

I opened up the computer, it's time I swapped out my 40gig C drive for the 150 gig drive I've had sitting on my desk for the last 6 months any ways, so I put it in, install windows and I'm away, so much more reliable and faster, then I put my old C drive in the USB external shell, because I've got a lot of stuff on that drive I still really need

Surprise surprise, its corrupt and unreadable.

Luckily, I'm a calm person. I knew I'd get my stuff back.. just a matter of when I can be bothered to search for a good recovery program and enough time to do it.

3 days later, one of my friends on MSN link's me to a warez forum with tons of hard drive recovery programs (amongst other things )

I download the one they all seem to like the best, and after a few hours it recovers over 53,000 out of 54,000 files, barely even corrupt.. stupid windows…

Yup, quite relieved, only thing I had left to do was find out what sound drivers I needed, my brother then logged onto MSN (he built this computer) and he remembered what sound drivers I needed, infact he sent them to me via MSN.

It's safe to say my computer is back in the game.

Only problem I have is I can't get any sound from youtube… what's really weird is that other flash video player's sound plays fine, even google-video

trying to get some help from youtube, but they're useless, asking me if my speakers are plugged in and turned on etc, while I'm explaining I recently installed my sound drivers after installing the latest flash player, and asking if that might have caused problems…

Here's where I ask if anyone here might have some idea what I need to fix, I really have no idea… to me it seems like there's some fault on youtube's end but it's only affecting me (maybe others?).. but that seems too far fetched.

it's just the day about 6 of my friends come round since I'm pretty much the only nerd amongst them, I download lots of their favourite TV shows, heroes, prison break, lost, family guy, south park, the usual

they show up each Tuesday night with about 7 pizzas, lots of beer, 2 xboxes and a couple laptops ready to leach off me, we watch the episodes then play video games all night, great fun. And quite important now that we've all finished our high school and moving onto new educations or jobs.

What else? I think I might bake some brownies, I made some this past weekend out of curiosity (never had them before) and they turned out to be pretty good.. though I'd like to make something different but I can't think of anything better..
