First, thanks for all the comments on my mole sprite from yesterday, I didn't think you guys would like it so much
here's a slightly out of date attack animation of the mole:What's out of date? well, the timing is pretty much off for the entire thing, and the slash streaks look a lot better now. Some of you asked for me to drop some knowledge on you, next time I make a sprite for Twinsen, I'll save all the important stages and do a big write-up for you guys, it should teach you guys a thing or two. Today, as you may know, is Tuesday (Tuesday) and I haven't done a whole lot, tidied my room a bit, took the dog for a walk, only thing worth really sharing is I watched a Metroid Fusion speed run on google videos (still get no sound on youtube )Anyone involved in game making should love speed runs, they can bring out the best and worst of a game's engine, and show just exactly how robust they are.And while Metroid Fusion is the most linear, and least open to sequence breaking, it still makes a damn good speed run.I should also mention, speed running is an important part of what's motivating me to make Twinsen, I've always had it in mind and based many aspects of the game around it.BYAAH!
I love speed runs.
They should play fair sometimes though, IMO, but heh, that's always neat to watch.Nice mole.Nice mole!
I had a mole once, but she dumped me for a lightbulb! [:(]You are a very amazing spriter.
Ooh love that sprite! Twinsens graphics are very professional looking. Me likes <3
And the professionality continues.. :D
Metroid Fusion is fun and that speedrun is really awesome. I wish (not) that I could play like that.. But it would take much time so.. Nah. ;D
