Me and my brother set up his wireless router last night, so I can finally go online with my DS again.

I played a few games of Metroid Prime Hunters and some Mario Kart.

Mario Kart is great, I recollect a game I played about 6 months ago against a dude called JohnnyB and he had Peter Griffin as his emblem, we played for about half an hour, the first couple races were pretty even, then we did rainbow road.

He was just behind me and we were about to head into the corkscrew loop thing and I noticed he had a red shell, I knew he was going to shoot me when we were upside down so I'd fall off the track and he'd get a 30 second advantage over me, so I slammed on the brakes right before entering the loop.

And so did he.

I turned around and looked at him, and he looked at me, I jumped, he jumped twice, I tried to push him into the loop to make him go first, I tried to push him off the edge, but he kept dodging my attempts, and I was nearly falling off the edge doing so.

So I just went into the loop, but I stayed right against the wall, he shot his shell and it hit the wall just behind me.

And then it happened again on the next lap.

The next race, I had a good start and got miles ahead of him, then I noticed he was still at the starting line, so I went back, and he took off in reverse.

So we did that race in reverse, the time actually ran out and crowned me because I was just a tiny bit in the lead.

Then the next race, neither of us moved, then I slowly drove away, he followed me, we stopped at a good spot and had a battle.

We kept doing stuff like this for half an hour, and eventually I had to go.

So I logged off, and later I checked google for his email or something, I eventually found him registered at gamefaqs, and I found his Mario Kart friend code, but I couldn't find his email.

Still I added him, and sent him a private message with my friend code, months went by, no response so I just forgot about him.

It was a cool game, and its impressive we had such a cool game when we can't even communicate, but it's annoying there's no voice chat, text chat, or even just a way to add people as your friends so we could've had more fun.

I tried out the homebrew MSN app for DS "Beup", it's really impressive, I don't recall who made it, but they did a damn good job, really professional presentation and execution, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft couldn't do a better job.

In Twinsen related news, I've been talking to an old friend; Goodnight, who makes music, he said he's always been interested in making music for Twinsen, but that he never had the time.

Now he does.

I'm gonna make the graphics for the new opening cut scene, then Cocopuffs can put it together, then we can give it to Goodnight and he can make some music to fit with the cut scene.
