Record

Okay cool, did a bit more work on Twinsen today, Cocopuffs included a cool little option to record the gameplay, with the press of a button it starts taking a screenshot of every single frame, then just open those frames up in imageready, and save them as a .gif

Click to see the full screen .gif (2MB)

Now you can see the combo counter in action, let me know what you guys think.

Whats cool is I can edit each frame in complete detail then convert these gifs into a movie file type, add music etc and upload to youtube etc.

We went to the airport today to pick up my second oldest brother Alex from Australia, he's only here for a couple days, but it's still cool to have everyone back for a while.

He brought his lap top, so I've got a lot of warez to copy.

BYAAH!

Im loving it… But I noticed how in your last blog you were concerned with the combo… Your using a font that dosent really go with the game, the red id fine but you need to add style to the font, like maybe use images instead.. The only good example I can think of is the "4" in the resident evil 4 game cover…

Good luck, your game loks briliant, only that black and white zone thing is kind of annoying >____>

Now that is awesome stuff.

the red font is kinda in the game, infact its the exact same one as the counter in the bottom right, just bigger :P

and the black and white flash, well, the gif is a little slower than the actual game, its only there for about 5 frames, and I doubt we'll ever have a group of enemies that close together, and so easy to kill :P

oh and theres one other problem that was annoying me, the watter under the bridge looks flatter than the other water, it looks like a blue door for some reason… Thats just my input
