I went and made a short trailer for Twinsen today, it only features the first (and significantly easier) level that you're probably already familiar with.

It's only a 30 second trailer, and I only really want to show stuff I know won't change much from this point to the point we've got the demo ready.

Only things that will probably change in level 1 is correcting the plants that spawn facing the wrong way, and the cloud moving 1 frame later than the sky.

Talked to Cocopuffs today, and briefly discussed plans on another little option for Twinsen that will really help out speed running communities, any community that might be interested in Twinsen really, it'll be great.

I forgot to mention yesterday that we simplified the layers in the background, combining the cliff and all the tree layers.

Fact was they were too jumpy in motion, and they couldn't really be fixed, so now they're a lot smoother in motion.

Speaking of yesterday, some of you noted the flash frame was a bit too jarring and distracting, to be honest, I quite like how over the top it is, but I can still understand where you're coming from.

So with that said, I think I should probably get Cocopuffs to include a slider into the graphics options to dictate the flash frame's opacity.

Tonight we had a big family dinner, uncles, aunties, cousins etc…

My uncle brought his black Lab; Donald over tonight to play with Jazz, man Donald makes Jazz look good…

She's already pretty well trained, not dog show material or anything, and she's still a bit mischievous, stealing the cat food from the kitchen etc.

So back to tonight, Jazz is actually in heat right now, so we had to have Donald tied up most of the night, he had a nice bone and some water, so he should've been fine.

But no, he's pretty codependent and broke two leashes trying to come inside, he was outside jumping about 4 feet in the air while we're inside having dinner, and Jazz is lying on her bed.

It's pretty bad really, hes only about 5 months old, he can break leashes, and really demands your attention…

He needs some discipline or he won't be a very fun dog when he's older.

Which leads to my uncle going to America for a few weeks and we're going to look after Donald while he's gone, I'm kinda looking forward to it because dogs are awesome.. but I'm not really looking forward to dealing with such an undisciplined dog.
