Zelda

Phantom Hourglass just got dumped a few hours ago, it has a 2M .sav type, so a lot of carts need fixes to run it, luckily I have an R4, and the new firmware was released like 10 minutes later.

And, so far, even though it's all in Japanese, it's a great game, top notch presentation, there are still some things that bug me, Link's model specifically, but I think it will grow on me, I have seen a lot that makes it forgivable though.

I wouldn't be surprised if the game got a 10/10 in graphics, infact I believe Famitsu gave it a score of 39/40.

I just got in the ship, sailed to the second island, and shut it down.

I wanna pace myself because I know I'm gonna get stuck eventually, I have been pretty lucky with the puzzles so far, where you need to write japanese characters, and do stuff in specific sequences, in fact, so lucky I got them on my first try.

In Twinsen related news, I've only really touched up the Zoe sprite a bit, you can check it here:

As you can see, I went with #1's face, and if you look even closer, you'll see I shortened her limbs in some frames, and her height overall.

BYAAH!

Playing games in foreign languages is difficult.. I tried to play The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons in Japanese I think, a couple years back. It was just horror for me.. :D

And oh, the sprite looks nice now. =)

PH looks awesome. Link's model is annoying, but I'll get over it.

Another 2D Zelda is what the world needs right now. Yeah, Minish Cap was good (especially in graphics), but it just wasn't satisfying as LttP or the Oracles.

The Twinsen sprite is awesome. Sometimes I wonder why you're making a fangame with sprites this original. =P
