I haven't pixelled any tiles for a while now, so I thought I might as well take a practice swing at the new tiles I have planned for Twinsen.
If I liked how they turned out, I would've saved showing you guys them for when I had at least redone the trees too, obviously that's not the case and I'm not really happy with them. So yeah, I'm gonna start again, I've got a much better design in my head, and if all goes well I won't show you guys for at least couple days. Cocopuffs still isn't back yet, so I've got nothing else to report really…BYAAH!
In response to the video: The real question is, what video game they took…
the background looks excellent, as do the enemies. the snail, though, looks a bit undershaded. needs a highlight on his head and side of his neck maybe. now that I notice it, I think the elephant needs another highlight as well.
on the right side of the bg, what's with the small round spot showing on the top of the cloud? looks like it's from the sun rays, which are, for some odd reason, higher than the sun.i'm loving the rockwall, very original.the biggest problem I have with this would have to be the hud. the bottom right numbers are really out of place. they stand out too much and really don't show us what they are just by a screenshot. you need some sort of representation of what they're for, like your clover leaf point things.about the video:
lol, couple of dipshits. I mean hell, if you're going to break in, steal as much shit as possible, not just a barbie's dream world game cube game…kids these days.Once again, looks great.
Nice tileset. It outshines the old one in many ways, most notably the grass and rocky outputs. But in my opinion, you should keep both tilesets in, as both have their pros and cons.
Look's really good. Im curious. What program do you use to make your tilesets?
mspaint :P
