Livelier

I don't really have much to say today.. Let's see..

I've done a bit more work on the tiles, made them more versatile, another tree variation, the bridges, and some extra details like rocks and bushes to go on the platforms- makes the game look a lot livelier.

I'm not gonna show today though, I wanna pace it.

What else.. My dad finally fixed the water in the kitchen, we got a new bench top and cupboard/drawers put in a few days ago, and since then we've had to wash dishes in the laundry etc.

I took Jazz for a walk today, at one point we passed some construction workers with a digger and steam roller, all the noise freaked her out and she just didn't know what to do, running round me trying to hide I guess.

Then later on she took a decent lunge at a jogger, I think it's the first time someone has run past her, so she got a bit excited. She used to try and lunge at people just walking past and bikers, but after so many, she no longer cares.

And um, a token topic of interest?

How 'bout that Simpsons movie?

It came out yesterday here, I still haven't seen it, and I doubt I will see it at the theaters.

I'd rather download it considering I don't really like the show and it's so popular there's probably a torrent already…

*goes to check*

…Hmm, only French at the moment.

Still, the games look alright, I've watched a few videos of the console versions and the DS game, they all look pretty fun and legitimately good. The Simpsons- like most TV shows/movies is responsible for a terrible line of video games.

I think the only Simpsons games I ever enjoyed was the multiplayer arcade game, and the more recent Simpsons hit and run, a rather shallow GTA clone, but it got the job done and had official voices and areas recreated faithfully.

In DS news, my microSD reader/writer has started corrupting my SD card, so I haven't been able to put any new videos/music/games/apps, on my R4. Feeling it's absence I dusted off my old GBA flash cart and wrote to it one game I wondered about but never really gave a try; Sword of Mana.

So far it seems decent, only thing that bugs me is that it seems to be the only GBA game ever with some weird tearing on the larger areas and sprites.

BYAAH!
