Today I played some more of Super Metroid Redesign, organized a to-do-list, discussed some Twinsen stuff with Cocopuffs, and searched for a good screen capture program.
I plan on making a trailer once we have the demo ready, so I started searching for a good screen recording program.I still have yet to find a good program that will record sound and won't slow down the game to a ridiculous degree.I have the sinking feeling I may end up having to use the built in gif recording function to make the trailer.. it's nice and all, but to make an actual trailer with it is a lot of work, I mean I have to:First convert all the frames into a gif.Convert the gif to a movie file.Add sound effects and music manually.Plus a ton of production editing.Ultimately, it's a better solution to the programs I've used so far, as they slow it down so bad it's just terrible.. plus I will have control over every single pixel of every single frame.. even though there is a bit of colour loss…So, I'm sure a lot of you guys have made trailers for your games before, and if you know of a good program, or alternative solution, please leave a comment.
Ive never had a job but there are a lot of places within a 3 mile radius that are hiring, good for me seeing as I can't drive.
…TakaM; you're the great pixel-artist, yes?
Anyway, I need to find another job, too. [:(]camstudio?
I've been trying to find the same thing.
Yeah, what FB said. Camstudio is great (as long as you set quality to 100%), I recommend it.
I just downloaded camstudio, it lagged D=
