No no, don't worry, Twinsen isn't going on hold or anything, I just haven't posted an entry for a few days.

Just haven't had much to talk about to be honest.

For Twinsen, I've started the tiles for the next world, done the platform tiles and extra stuff like trees and rocks etc.

I don't really need to be doing them yet, because not only is the first world not finished, we still of course don't even have the demo out yet.

Once I've made one of the levels from the next world, I'll show you guys the tiles.

I try to avoid looking like I'm blaming Cocopuffs for all the delays even though the remaining work is up to him, it is pretty much my fault.

I've just kept him a bit in the dark with stuff I planned on changing, "evolving" rather..

Just small play control stuff like Twinsen shouldn't be able to change direction after performing X action etc..

And a few remaining bugs, it's just all piled up and the list has gotten longer and longer.

I've finished my curriculum vitae, I'm gonna print out a bunch of copies and drop them off at local video stores, it's where I'd want to work the most - regular customers, I'm up for recommending and discussing movies and games, and it will have decent perks.

If I don't get a job at a video store, I guess I'll just work at Mc Donalds or something.

JakeX just showed me a GMC topic on msn, nominating GM games for various awards.

All the usernames I recognized from here seemed to nominate me as best artist, or Twinsen for best graphics, for that, I've got to thank everyone for their nominations.

Only thing that's a shame is the fact Twinsen didn't get nominated for best gameplay or best GML programmer, though completely understandable since the only available demo is severely out of date and primitive.

Dazed and Confused was on tonight, I really appreciate cult classic movies like this, I've grown to really love the movies that don't attempt to be some generic "epic" Hollywood movie, or another romantic comedy, they just do their own thing and do it well.

I was surprised to find a young Ben Affleck played as one of the seniors, I normally can't stand the dude, but in this movie, he was obviously a lot younger and wasn't stuck playing the same type of character he always plays.

Infact I only realized it was him when the credits rolled.

Still not sure if anyone is ever disappointed if I miss a few entries, but I'll get back into daily updates.

BYAAH!

ben affleck has a bunch of good movies. he's never a lead, but he plays his character well. see: any movie with him in it directed by kevin smith

Ah, as Zipper said, you wouldn't have been able to blog if you even had wanted to. =]

well, I actually posted this about 10 minutes before 64D went down, but it had the incorrect date, about a week into the future, so I went to repost the entry - maybe it'd fix the date, and 64D was down :P

and when 64D was finally back up, I reposted this entry so it would have the correct date and wouldn't stay at the top of the page until the incorrect date was past
