8.5

If you follow gamespot (you're an idiot) you'll know they reviewed Metroid Prime 3 and gave it an 8.5/10

I was expecting something around 8.4, so I don't really care, after all I learned to completely disregard gamespot a long time ago.

The annoying thing is that gamespot's writers know 8.5 is "still a good score" which is the argument everyone uses against the people complaining.

That's the idea, gamespots entire thought process reviewing nintendo games is as follows:

"Okay guys, this is a pretty damn good game for Nintendo"

"Yeah, I think it will actually be a pretty big success.."

"So what score do you think we can get away with?"

"I think if we go below an 8.5, it would be too obvious"

"Okay, 8.5 it is then, now go write a review trying to justify this score"

Then this tool will write a sloppy review full of descriptions of stuff that "appears to be" and "gives the impression of"..

But Takam, you said you didn't really care?

I don't really care about their Prime 3 review, GT and IGN already did a damn good job reviewing the game.

What I'm more pissed off about (other than the stupid discussions that follow gamespots idiotic reviews) is their review of Super Metroid, and you guessed it, they also gave it an 8.5/10.

Super Metroid, the game that is no stranger to top ten best games of all time lists and has claimed the number one spot more than once.

Ignoring that, I think you could maybe justify a score as low as a 9/10.

Infact, the only bad thing gamespot had to say about the game was the fact nintendo waited 13 years to port the game.

Just think about that for a second, I think we can all agree that if nintendo did port the game to GBA or DS, gamespot would base their entire review on the fact they wanted a new game then slap on a 4/10 score.

Just standard gamespot, who cares.

In more intelligent and unbiased news, GT finished the Metroid Retrospective, so some of you may be glad that I'll stop mentioning it.

So just go and watch it.

BYAAH!

Yes, Gamespot is really bad. I don't like it, that's why I always go to IGN.

Gamespot has a penchant for throwing together really rediculous reviews and/or game awards just to get attention.
