First and foremost, the biggest news would probably be that I am now an employee at Channel X.

I've already done 2 shifts being trained, and I have to wear a trainee badge, but it's cool, I really enjoy working there.

It's a bit surprising how stupidly annoying some people can be, like, there is no way to keep the children's section organized, apparently one dude alphabetizes it every week, and within the hour it's completely out of order, and then there's assholes that come in and just flip every DVD down on the shelf etc.

And it made me realize I don't think I've ever stood up for 8 hours before, and my feet were really sore after.. My feet are kinda retarded though so hopefully they adjust.

I've actually got work in about 2 hours, I just thought I'd check if 64D is up and write an entry.

For Twinsen, well, I've just about done everything I can do for the demo we plan on releasing, I'm even redoing animations now.

Cocopuffs has moved back in with his mother and her 56k connection, I'm not sure if that will get in the way of anything, but time will tell.

One thing I will show you guys, is Twinsen's new and improved catamaran:

The old catamaran was ridiculously small and there was no way Twinsen could fit inside, this one is still pretty small, but like the new cottages, it doesn't look so unrealistic for Twinsen to jump in.

In other artistry news, over at the Pixelation forums there's a mockup challenge, this time for "demakes"

Take any game, preferably 3D and make a mockup of how it could look on the Gameboy:

Yoshi's Story and Animal Crossing respectively.

I'm not too proud of the animal crossing one, infact it wouldn't really work as an actual game, the whole concept behind Animal Crossing would have to be altered pretty heavily before it could work on the Gameboy.

But the Yoshi's Story mockup, I quite like, infact I kinda want the game to be real.

Back to Channel X, I think I'm really gonna enjoy working there, there's a lot I have to remember, especially since I'll be working full time; security codes, closing procedures, stock take etc, but it will be great.

Stocking the shelves I've seen a lot of movies I plan on checking out, infact I watched Accepted today.

Not a bad movie, it's your standard highschool/college movie with the same backup love story in most movies, but it was alright, nothing inspiring, but nothing done "wrong", so check it out if you like those kinda movies.

Prison Break, season 3 just started and I'm pretty impressed.

Season 1 was great, everyone likes the idea of an innocent genius escaping from prison.

Season 2 was okay, the running season basically, it was a bit repetitive and I think a few too many characters got killed off, but it was alright.

Season 3 looks to be excellent though, he's now in basically the worst prison you can imagine, the guards pulled out after a massive riot and now the prisoners run the place. It's started off really well conveying the setting and the way things are done, so if you lost interest during season 2, you should give it another chance with season 3.

Heroes, season 2..

To be honest, I lost a lot of interest during season 1, some episodes were amazing, but I found a lot of it to give me that same "slap myself" stupid standard TV show feeling.

Like when you can see a much better solution to their problems but at the same time know they're doing it the stupid way just so there will be another situation they have to deal with.

Well, the first episode was alright, they seem to be focusing on some of the more interesting characters, only thing I didn't really like was the little girl who is now having nightmares and drawing disturbing pictures all day, I mean, come on..

And Family Guy, that full Star Wars parody is out, and I quite liked it.

It's still kinda dumb, but it's better than the standard family guy episode.

Well, that's about all for today, I'm gonna go have a shower and get ready for work.
