My social life seems to have segued into some sort of high school mini-drama.

Ok, so most of you know I've been after this one girl(see my past blogs if you don't know), so far to no avail. Well, there was that incident a few weeks ago with her telling me about how another friend had a crush on me, and how I should ask her out… well that ended in disaster, since it was done on false pretenses(she never actually liked me, but there was a 'misinterpretation' of sorts). Whatever. So that didn't do a whole lot for my self-worth. Screw it.

So last week I find out that a girl who rides my bus has a crush on me. This time, I know it's a fact, since she told me herself. Thing is, she's two years younger than me, and I would just feel weird dating a younger girl. Whatever. Oh, yeah, and the fact that she's bisexual doesn't help matters. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people of alternate lifestyles, it's just that I'd prefer if my first girlfriend wouldn't be seeing me AND another girl at the same time, y'know? It'd be weird…

So anyway, the primary girl I've been after sends me an e-mail last night. Summed up it basically said, "You should ask someone out. It would do you some good… ever watch Smallville?"

A few things disturb me with that message:

1 - I asked <i>her</i> out a few weeks back, and was denied. It didn't do me any good at all. More so, she should have said, "You should get a girlfriend," since asking someone out and getting shot down REALLY doesn't do you any good, now does it?

2 - How the hell do you segue from telling someone to ask someone else out into discussing Smallville?

At this rate, I won't have a girlfriend until I'm like 25, when all my other friends are getting married and such. Whatever.

In good news, I had a sparring class in Karate today, and I'm proud to say that I beat the shit out of a 40-something-year-old man. I couldn't really hit him with punches, so I just laid on him with roundhouse and hook kicks to the stomach. Good times.
