Well I've finished my first full-length album for my current musical project, 'The Avatrol'. The album is self-titled. You can check it out at last.fm here and download the entire album if you wish. The album will soon be hosted by other sites as well.
Let me know what you guys think. I often take constructive criticism in great esteem and appreciate peoples opinions.
Wow this is amazing. Seriously. Hell even your voice is beautiful, I can't tell if it's professional or not. The guitar, everything, it sounds great. No static might I add, you must have some good recording equipment. I love the first song. Ok so I finished it, all the songs are great, but I think the first song is my favorite. I'm keeping this in my collection. Great job.
this is superb
i can hear the NIN influence in your melodies, Spun in particular sounds like something off the Fragile. the guitar in Kamila with your voice makes me think of Bark Psychosis, but i doubt you know them. i do like the surfy bit at the end of Wake Up.
On the one hand, I'd have to set the standards pretty high to consider this anywhere near bad (i.e. it's awesome). On the other, why the fuck did you have to call the song with the best intro on the album after my former crush, down to the spelling, you fucking bastard? :P
Wow, I'm really happy you guys enjoyed it! I put a lot of time into these songs. I know there are a few songs, 'painting faces' in particular, where the lyrics are very much unintelligible. This was done on purpose but I worried if it might take away from the professionalism of the album. What do you guys think?
I've been reading up how to start my own record label so I can go ahead and start releasing this in a more legitimate commercial way. Without dealing with the shit of an already dying music industry.Still deciding on interesting ways for marketing and promoting. Expect a music video or 2 in the future.something else occurred to me, don't you have any other range for your voice? i swear all your vocals must be within seven semitones of one another.
Yeah, many of the songs just have similar vocal harmonies. It's something I'm working on for my future stuff.
