So today I'm sitting at a red light driving to the store to get a battery for the fire detector at work. The light turns green, and before I can even put my foot on the gas, I'm rear-ended by some SUV. The girl was a new driver. She was driving with a passenger under 18, (against the law in CT), and she didn't even have her license on her. The girl sitting in the passenger seat got up and left the scene, and the drivers mother showed up with her license.
I drive a piece of shit 98 Buick park avenue, and now the trunk won't close and a fucking bungee cord is strapped from the trunk onto the license plate to keep the trunk from opening.Mallory is only playing me for what she can get from me at work, so I'm done with her, oh well, too bad.My mom has hepatitis and her liver is starting to fail…I'm working 50 hour weeks and struggling to save a penny.I haven't been able to buy weed because I'm so strapped for cash.So yeah, I've been listening to Weezer B-sides from the 90s. The police officer neglected to give me an accident summary, so I'm driving down to the station tomorrow. Hopefully her insurance will pay me a good amount of money.Since the cops didn't know about her not having her license or her illegal passenger, I'm thinking about calling them and asking if they wanted to make a deal so they don't have to get their insurance company involved and so her rates don't go up.Cheer me up, give me a cyber hug. :(
Well.
Here's a hug.And Weezer's great. I think I'm going to see them play Pinkerton in Boston next month.Hope things turn around, and you get rich off the fender bender.:)
Thanks Poly.Hey man, if you're in CT you should see if you can come to the concert!
Haha, I really wanted to go, I think I might do that!
Nice! It's Dec. 15, and literally two minutes from my school. They're playing the Blue Album the night before, but I'll be at Pinkerton.
That sucks man, I hope you get compensation for the damages and stuff - the fact that her mummy came to the scene to give the license to her was… Really quite stupid - not only did she not keep the license with her, her mum probably didn't punish her enough to warrant her coming to the rescue.
*hugs*Here's to better days *holds up my glass of orange juice*.not nearly as bad, but my gf and I were at a red light and some guy nudged the back. And he was black so he had a wad of cash, so we asked for $50.
Now with insurance I can guarentee they can pay a lot more than $50.*big hug*
She did a dumb.Juice her for all she's got ;]/hug
Her insurance company is going to pay for the damages, but it will probably only be like 1000 at most, the car isn't even worth that much money anymore… I'll probably take the money and put it towards a new vehicle.
