Do you guys remember when I spammed the Activity Feed with blogs on new tracks I would post on soundcloud or various hosting sites? Well, as I started getting more and more into soundcloud, gathering more followers and more and more comments on my tracks. It became easier and easier for me to neglect the amazing community and feedback from this site as my life became more and more consumed by creating music.
I have admittedly have become more and more anal about posting every piece of music I write, and for better or for worse, have suffered and deliberated on whether or not certain tracks were "worthy", "loud enough", whatever.Anyways, I came to the realization that I could do that dance forever and I was ultimately destroying my ability to possibly make a living doing the thing I love and spend most all of my time doing, making music. My first attempt is this release, 'Joypad'. You can of course stream the whole thing for free and listen to it whenever you want in it's entirety, or you can buy individual tracks that you like or buy the entire album if you s desire for a measly 12 bucks. (The album is comprised of 15 tracks).Anyways, I hope some of the regulars who enjoyed my music still frequent here and if you don't remember/know me…well… check it out anyways! ;)As always, much love and I STILL appreciate suggestions, comments, criticisms.Well, here it is: The Avatrol - JoypadLong time no visit. (and NEW music 'Joypad') :D

This gets the JuurianChi seal of Awesome! (Because, y'know, I'm in music and whatnot.)What? Not cool enough for you?Fine.+1
I'll respond in the album's style:
T-t-t-th-th-th-this a-a-a-al-al-album is g-g-gr-gr-great. DRUMHIT. I hope it sells well. I'm considering buying it as soon as I get some spending money.Joypad… that's the most boss name given your music style.
i'd love to listen to the whole thing but i just can't seem to get past Zeux :DCool, thanks guys. The name for the album comes from the fact that I use 'pad' instruments and synth sounds heavily, and "joypad" is also what game controllers used to be called.
It's definitely much more difficult to get people to buy music as oppose to just listening to it. Not that it will deter me in anyway, but I ought to find some other means of promoting my music. Hmmm..Glad you're back! I will listen to this tomorrow if I get the chance.
Didn't make it through the whole thing yet. It's surprisingly long! I'm glad to see some people who believe an album should be more than 40 minutes of unconnected singles.
I didn't always appreciate the aesthetics of some of the songs, and I felt like a few of the beginning ones could have used some vocals, but I recognize that a lot of work went into these, and I highly respect that.As far as getting your music out to as many services and places as possible, have you investigated cdbaby?
