I like the banner better than the avvy, but they're both pretty cool.

banners ok. I like pixelated effect. But the lettering its out of place and hard to read.
I approve the banner, maybe the avatar could use a border, and… aren't you a bit short on content? Heck, even this comment is longer than the blog.

I don't like the text because it's been done several times before, but I think the background of the banner looks lively and vibrant.
The text? Do you mean, the font I used was used several times before?
I havnt seen font before, but it's just hard for reading. First T is bunched with H and letters just to crowded.
But color scheme and background is good. Maybe just add spaces in letters.
