Yes, that's right, I have hit 6k hits, new badge ftw =D

Now I need to find something to add to this blog…..

Well, recently I have been working on remaking chapter 1 of Ikaruga in GM. I know there's heaps out there, not least Kairuga, but after playing Ikaruga endlessly for a long time, I have come to the realization that all these fan games are wrong. They are wrong in the sense that they do not follow the exact patterns, scoring, or timings of the original. This really annoyed me mainly because I was relying on them to play Ika at school XD. So ruhtrA and I have decided to remake chapter 1, PERFECTLY. I have already finished the engine, the the enemies up to the end of the introduction section for chapter 1. ruhtrA is on to spriting everything using his awesome pixel art skills. No pictures yet, all the sprites are placeholders.

I have also started learning that programming language from Japan, Ruby, using Why's (Poignant) Guide to Ruby. It is a very strange language.

Also, I am learning C++, hoping to one day retire from GM and begin making games using a real industry language.

What else….. oh yeah, I submitted ruhtrA and I's Entropy competition entry, Happy Fun Tunnel Time. It didn't get much attention while on the front page, dunno why. It's got online HS and still no one has beaten my top XD.
