Nintendo Fusion Tour, Gah My Ears

Well as you may or may not know last night I went to the Nintendo Fusion Tour. It was held in the Lakewood civic center. It was cool because it is large auditorium for a high school. It was awesome because you could see the bands basically no matter where you sat. We got a good seat in the back row of the first tier of seats. Short recap of the bands.

Also this is in order of which they played

The Sleeping: The worst band there. Not saying they were bad but they just don’t compare to the other bands. First off they tried a heave metal scremo kind of thing that was horrible. And you couldn’t understand a word they were saying because the singers face was to close to the microphone. I still got there autographs though.

Plain White Tee’s: I was worried about what the sound quality was going to be like after The Sleeping but The Plain White Tee’s showed that t worked fine. This band meet my expectations. I knew I liked there song Hate (I Really Don’t Like You) and Hey There Delilah but I soon learned they had a great set of songs. Went to get there CD after they preformed at the Swag stand but they were sold out

Emery: This band surprised me a lot. They were hard rocking with a touch of techno kind of like Linkin Park. Anyway there music was amazing defiantly a change from the first 2 bands. But their live show was amazing. They were jumping off the drum and throwing stuff in the air it was great. On of the guys through his Keyboard into the air and the wires were still attached. There performance was the second best next to the head liner

Reliant K: The second most famous band on the tour. What I’d like to call the Sub-Headliner. They had a cool intro were they played the Mario theme. I knew a few of there songs by name but not the song itself. they were cool and all but I really didn’t like there sound to much. They were to pop-ish for my taste but at least I could understand the lyrics most time. They had a pretty large number if fans so sometimes there screams muffled the music

Hawthorne Heights: The headliner and main reason I went to the show. They were amazing. There live show is always great as I’d seen them at Blossom Music Center on the Black Clouds and Underdogs tour. The disserve to be the headliner. They had the best live act because all the lights and effects. They did the full body head band and all that good stuff. They played most of there songs from the CD “If Only You Were Lonelyâ€? But they did play 4-5 songs off of “The Silence is Black and Whiteâ€? including “Niki FMâ€? and “Ohio Is For Loversâ€?. In the end they were loud and by far the best band there. When I left my ears had lost part of there hearing. I have now regained my hearing but now they won’t stop ringing .

Edit: I didn't get to play the Wii. To many people in line and the lines weren't where you could hear the music so I didn't bother

Edit 2: No I'm not emo T_T

Emery is an awesome band. You're the first person I know of who ever saw them live.
