Well seeing as everyone liked my Rachle Ray Gone Wild blog so much I figured that this would be great. I stumbled upon this at school. We had to watch Mythbuster for a project and the girl talked about the Mentos and Diet Coke thing. Well she said she learned about it at a FHM shoot centered around the mentos+Coke explosion. Well I did some digging…not realy I just google it and found these pics.

Is that pickle in the top picture lit up? It's hard to tell in the picture, but it may be. You can try it yourself, get an extension cord, cut it in 2, get some exposed wire, and hook each wire into boths ends of the pickel. Then, put the pickle on a safe surface, stand back, and plug the pickle in. I swear, it'll replace lightbulbs any day now.
She looks weird with the cucumber…
u cn do better similar explosions with other household objects. nothing dangerous though (not yet anyway). i believe the whole mentos+coke thing was a big marketing venture.
