@Purianite The major flaw in this competition was that there was only 16 votes on 17 games in the first round, which is a pretty select group of people. As there were 70 people who said they were going to make a game, I was hoping as many people would bother to vote - the result of such a vote would be alot more interesting (and significant). That turned out not to be the case however. If I were to ever host another comp I'd have to seriously reconsider the voting/judging system (nb I still hate "give a score out of 10 for each game" systems).
My point is, and I think you know it, don't take these results to heart.Anyway I will definitely be taking part in the new years/winter comp. But don't expect too much.aw last place =( oh well, at least my game got mentioned! best i've ever got so far =D i hope i can make a game as good as Rez's eventually. it feels like it's been forever since the comp lol. anyway congrats to Rez and the other winners!
