Looks great! Is it going to be a new image or a remake of the top one? The details on the church are also pretty nice. What program are you using for this?

The first mockup just SCREAMS "City of Haze - Victorian Fear"… will this be a SotN style metroidvania? O__,O
And if I were you I'd save the church, the tree to the left, the characters, the fence, lamp and ground. Really, only the house looks kinda crummy, you could probably recycle the rest.
