PHP Web Scripting
Ok, I know that you are all going to be like "What the heck, this guy hasn't learned PHP yet?!?!", well, I havn't, and I am going to try to learn it now. The reason is because I am going to make a family website for our family network that will be completely embended to be used in the browser. It will have a "Login System", and a small messaging system (not instant, it will be more like an email system, accept it won't send them to anyone outside the site, atleast not right away :P), account theme changing, etc… So I thought that after reading my previous post's comments then PHP would be the way to go. I am going to try to learn it from W3Schools' online web programing tutorial on PHP, which the main site of can be found here: http://www.w3schools.com/. I think that you might have to add "index.php" to that link because I have had trouble with it before. So, If you know of a better way for me to learn PHP then tell me. Also, does anyone know if Microsoft(r) Live hosting ( http://officelive.microsoft.com/WebHosting.aspx ) supports PHP? I havn't hosted my site with them, I don't even know if I can upload a site to them, but I am seeing if I could use it for this.EDIT: Didn't 64D used to have a chat? Just wandering if that cool chat was here or somwhere else…
Really, it is that easy?
Heres something to help you see how MegaScape can be made, i used and epic-zoom style angle. This will help you with your rpg, but please note that this is very, very raw. There are no realistic depth within objects, so you'll always stay on top of stuff. check it out:
